About This Prototype This prototype was designed as a JavaScript-based example of a Windows-based complied HTML Help program. To replicate Help file functionality, the standard Help user interface was copied and converted to GIF images. Dynamic HTML was then used to similate program Help file expected behaviors. The prototype features a collaspable directory and file tree, fully functional keystroke search cabilities, forward and back navigation, the ability to print help content, and the cabapicty to span both the content and selection windows with the selected help text.
