This prototype was designed to provide users a more interactive way to set internet time limits using McAfee Privacy Service, a web-managed service which combines personal identifiable information (PII) protection with parental controls. The application is HTML-based and uses client-side JavaScript and VBScript to generate the application's functionality. The parent selects a color-coded rectangle representing a half-hour period. A "red" selection indicates a blocked time, while a "green" selection indicates an allowed time. To change a setting, the parent simply clicks the half-hour block to change if from one state to the next.
